This was supposed to be a journal - something to look back on to remember pregnancy for all of its glory. It is not turning out to be that, though, since I have a hard time regularly updating. I must try harder.
Things have certainly improved on the preg-o front: I'm feeling much more energy and much less nausea. Last week I made 5 visits to the gym for lap swimming, and took hardly any naps. I feel like the mood swings might be a little better under control, but I truly should let Dave be the judge of that. My weight is holding steady, though my appetite continues to increase. All in all, I feel like I've entered the glory days, and there will be a little reprieve from the exhaustion, before the triple-x size pants factor in.
My best friend was in town this weekend, stopping in briefly for a visit. She's off to South Dakota for the week, but she'll be back at our house for next Saturday's party. It was wonderful to see her, and I was proud that I was able to stay up til 1 am, talking. Usually those late night gab sessions are fueled by wine, so it was strange to have that missing this time. It was still a fabulous time, and I can't wait until she's back again.
