I hate the feeling that I often get on Monday morning. That feeling that the weekend was so much fun and lasted so long that not only did you forget where your office was, you totally forgot where you work. It's nice, until you find out you have a Monday morning meeting and you're already late.
This weekend Dave and I spent hours upon hours in the garden. We're both sunburned and sore, but there's one new vegetable bed, and the canna lilies, morning glories, and dill are all seeded in the front gardens. The cucumber trellis is back up, and there are many, many hot peppers peeking out of the ground. We also had a fire in the yard with some friends, and visited the neighbors for dinner last night. All in all, a great weekend. Now I can't wait for Friday!

The plum is in bloom
The plum tree decided to bloom today, so I decided today was a good day to start a blog. The garden has begun to show signs of life, so I figured I would too. I'm not sure exactly what I should put on this site, so maybe I need a copy of this book. Until I figure it out, I'll just have to write about gardening, knitting, and life in Minneapolis. This should be fun!
